Hi Golf,
Thanks for telling the story of how you and Steve met. Here is a great example that cyber dating can work very well. No matter which way we date, communication is a key element, don’t you agree? Cyber dating encourages talking (since that’s all there is to do), so the potential is there to really get to know each other before actually meeting.
About older foreign guys and younger Thai women, I laughed, but this is true. My Thai girlfriend and I are farther apart in age than you and Steve. I think the reason is that middle-aged guys in the west often are ready to start over with a new family. This is due in part to our economic status, but more so because our western culture promotes male virility to a ripe old age.
Thanks especially for explaining about your parents feelings. You are blessed with an understanding mom and dad. I hope that I can be so lucky too.
Steve, I think your girl may want some flowers for her contribution.
